I went to LA’s Largest Business Networking Mixer last week at the Shrine Auditorium. Big Networking Events are like Six Flags for moi! Not only did I run into a couple of my online friends but I met many, many brand-new associates, and found some new referal for Networking Event Finders.com. However a curious thing happened on the way to my auto I had parked on the top floor of the parking structure (got a wonderful picture of the Los Angeles ) and at the end of the mixer, when a quite a few of us got on the elevator what do you think happened? As The Govenator puts it, the “Good, Bad & the Ugly” of the Calif budget issue has been resolved and it seems like huge layoffs can be expected here. What that means is your business networking mixers are going to have visits from additional jobseekers, pink “slip mixers” and career expos than ever (assuming there are still companies hiring).
