Learning to Play Guitar with Online Lessons

Lately I was thinking about the benefits of learning how to play guitar through online lessons.  So I started researching what my options were and how it would benefit me and my playing talents.  To my surprise, I found a lot of resources awaiting me. 
 
While I was trying to find free stuff, I discovered that some of the best resources are actually very affordable.  I believed I might purchase Jamorama learn to play Guitar as it is a great course and very well regarded by many people I have discussed this with.  I just need my next pay to come thru, and then I will buy it. 
 
I also discovered many sites that review Jamorama.  All reviews rate the course awfully highly which I found encouraging also.  There had been a Jamorama learn to play guitar review that said that the lessons were extraordinarily easy to follow and you received jam tracks to play together with.  This truly appeals to me. 
 
The other week I purchased a second hand guitar from a guy who was upgrading to a better model.  It sounds good and will suit me while I learn how to play.  I am anticipating being able to play my favourite songs and to sing along.  This may be a lot of fun.  Perhaps my folks will join in also. 
 
I must provide ongoing updates of my progress as I learn how to play the guitar.  Perhaps, I should also consider some singing lessons.  I will be able to target one thing at a time so I ensure that I make some progress with the lessons.  Wish me luck.
